Overview & Highlights

Welcome to the vibrant world of Czech Town Station, a restaurant nestled in the heart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Located at 69 16th Ave SW, this local gem has established itself as a go-to destination for food lovers seeking a diverse range of flavorful dishes in a cozy yet lively atmosphere. With a phone number you can reach for reservations or inquiries at +1 319-200-5776, you'll find yourself drawn to their unique culinary offerings.

When it comes to the menu, Czech Town Station truly shines. Their selection of burgers is not only extensive but also tantalizing. From the classic Station Pulled Pork at just US$12.00 to the savory delights of a Firehouse Chicken for US$15.00, every bite is crafted with care. Vegetarians will love the Black Bean Burger and the sides—from cottage cheese to the beloved tater tots—each option complements the main dishes beautifully. The crowd-pleasing Breakfast Skillets, with choices like chorizo or chicken fried steak, have left diners like Raymond Martin favoring repeat visits.

An unmissable experience at Czech Town Station is their inventive Blended Mimosa flights. With flavors ranging from Strawberry Lemonade to Tequila Later, they perfectly encapsulate the spirit of brunch. Devin Ganka’s experience with the “exciting” drink options, particularly the mango and prickly pear, speaks volumes about the creativity that flows from the bar. Whether you love mornings filled with fizzy drinks or prefer a simple iced coffee, the beverage list is designed to cater to a variety of palates.

However, like any dining experience, there are nuances to consider. A few reviewers have noted that busy service, especially during peak times, can lead to delays. Lauren Gunderson highlighted how a large group impacted her ability to converse, though she ultimately raved about the Crab Cake Eggs Benny and the perfectly cooked tater tots. It seems even during bustling hours, the flavor and quality remain top-notch.

Czech Town Station stands out not just for its food, but for its charming atmosphere that invites you to unwind and enjoy. Samantha McCarthy remarked on the lively vibe created by numerous TVs and music, making it a place to socialize, albeit one that might not appeal to everyone’s taste in ambiance. Nonetheless, the generous portions and array of specialty items make this a spot worth visiting again and again.

To sum it all up, Czech Town Station offers a delightful array of dishes that can turn a simple meal into a cherished experience. With high-quality food, friendly service, and an array of creative drinks, it’s no wonder this Cedar Rapids haven is garnering attention. So grab your friends or family, head on over to Czech Town Station, and embark on a flavorful journey that promises to satisfy and delight.

My daughter took me here for breakfast and it was a good experience. You have to judge for yourself but it's a nice place if you like a lot of TVs going and music wasn't my favorite genre. My opinion only judge for yourself it's a nice place but not for me.

First time for brunch at CTS. The food was amazing; best Crab cake Eggs Benny I've had in a long time. The tater tots were perfectly cooked and the ranch was delicious! We had plenty of food leftover to take home. The only downside was the service time due to a very large group of diners that arrived before us. The group was incredibly loud which made any discussion at our own table very difficult to hear. We would go back!

This place was so unexpected! I randomly found Czech Town Station through a Google search and decided to check them out. Their flights intrigued me. The atmosphere and service were amazing. Our waitress was making all the drinks and had a large section and still was timely and friendly. We got the blended mimosa flight and I liked most of them. Some were definitely water down, but still highly suggest. The mango, strawberry lemonade and prickly pear are all top notch options. They have a whole menu with just flights so makes for a fun and exciting experience! Next time I want to try their White Russian flights, but they have a Bloody Mary flight, Benedict and other types of flights as well. The food is incredible and filling! The chicken and waffles was definitely the BEST thing I had today. Our gravy was good, but not as good as the chicken and waffles. Overall, great experience and will be happy to go back.

At first glance I was skeptical if this place could live up to its menu. It did not disappoint to say the least and I will be back. I've been there twice and had breakfast skillets both times. Once Charizo and once chicken fried steak. Both were great. My workmate had a flight of eggs Benedict and said they were perfect.

This little local spot definitely has charm, a great variety on the menu and generous portions make it worth checking out. However, there were a few things that took away from the experience. There weren’t prices listed for everything, which made it a little awkward having to ask about costs. I ordered the salmon Benedict with hash browns and a non-alcoholic cold brew coffee flight (raspberry, original, caramel, and mocha). The eggs Benedict was delicious. Perfectly cooked and flavorful although the hollandaise sauce was a bit heavy and overpowered the rest of the dish. The hash browns were very buttery and lacked any real seasoning. The coffee flight was a fun idea but disappointing in execution. Each glass only had a couple of sips once you accounted for all the ice, and it was surprisingly expensive the same price as if it had included alcohol. On top of that, every flavor was overly sweet. The atmosphere itself was pleasant and unique, and you can tell the menu offers plenty of specialty items that make the place stand out. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the vibe. Even though it was a quiet Tuesday morning, I felt rushed like I was just another check instead of a guest trying to enjoy breakfast.

This place is all over Sunday Funday like a fat kid on cake. Huge selection of beer on draft, several variations of bloody Mary’s, mimosas and coffee drinks. The food is fantastic! my wife had the chicken and waffles, I had the chicken and biscuits. Huge portions, we should have split… Staff is incredibly friendly and provides fast quality service.

The pancakes were really good. The cinnamon roll was decent, but not the best; it could have used a bit more cinnamon. Our server, Danika, was amazing. She was very helpful and patient and answered our many questions. My sister asked for iced coffee with milk rather than cream;, often restaurants/servers say they can't do that. Danika had no problem with it and brought my sister a cup of milk. Danika and the rest of the staff seemed like they enjoyed being there, and it made the experience very nice.

The breakfast was really good. I have eaten here a few times and it’s always good no matter the time of day. I don’t drink, but our friends always like the drink options available. Sometimes it feels like they are a little short staffed, they work very hard to cover all of the tables and turn them over. I will keep coming back regardless.
